What breakdown cover packages are available from Green Flag?

Green Flag provides a range of breakdown membership packages for standard drivers as well as business breakdown customers. They also offer European breakdown cover, motorbike breakdown cover and caravan and trailer breakdown cover. Customers can choose personal cover, vehicle cover or family cover when purchasing Green Flag breakdown membership.

  • Rescue: This is Green Flag’s basic policy which provides 24-hour roadside assistance and recovery to the nearest garage if your vehicle can’t be fixed. This package does not cover you for breakdowns at your home address.
  • Rescue Plus: This package adds at-home cover to the features of the basic Rescue product.
  • Recovery: Alongside roadside assistance and at-home cover, this package extends the distance that your vehicle can be towed by providing recovery of your vehicle and passengers to a destination of your choice.
  • Recovery Plus: Green Flag’s most comprehensive UK recovery package combines the features of all the previous products to provide complete protection for domestic drivers.
  • Euro Plus: Green Flag’s annual European breakdown recovery package offers all the features of their Recovery Plus product plus cover while driving in Europe.

If you’re an existing Green Flag breakdown member with automatic renewal you will not need to do anything when your policy term ends as your membership will be renewed for another 12 months after it expires.

Green Flag members without automatic renewal will be sent renewal documents before their existing policy ends. They will then need to contact Green Flag via phone or online to renew their policy and make any amendments to their membership.
