RAC breakdown membership comes with Roadside cover as standard. To this basic roadside assistance, customers can add a number of additional cover options, including:

National recovery: This optional extra allows you to have your vehicle towed to any UK destination if it cannot be repaired at the roadside.
At home cover: This upgrade extends RAC assistance services to within ¼ mile of your home address.
Onward travel: This option adds cover for alternative transport or accommodation if your vehicle cannot be fixed immediately.
Battery replace: Cover for a replacement vehicle battery should your current one fail.
Tyre replace: Optional protection that will cover you for 5 tyre replacements per year.
Key replace: If you opt for this extra RAC will replace your cars keys if they are lost, stolen or broken by accident.
