What services does Personal Cover from GEM Motoring Assist include?

Included in the Personal Cover breakdown products from GEM Motoring Assist are the following:

  • Roadside Assistance: This means that if you break down more than a quarter of a mile from your home, an engineer will try to fix the problem roadside. If this is not possible, they will recover your vehicle to the nearest garage where they will work on the vehicle on the same day. In situations where this is not possible, GEM will recover you to any destination within the UK.
  • Nationwide Recovery: You and possibly up to 7 passengers can be recovered to any UK destination as part of the service.
  • Home Assistance : Customers are able to call out an engineer when they break down at home or within a quarter of a mile from their home.
  • Onward Travel: If your car cannot be repaired within a day and you are more than a specified distance from home, GEM helps with onward travel or overnight accommodation -although check limits before purchasing a policy.
