Just in time for the busy holiday travel season, Chase and United Airlines are giving the gift of bonus miles. Beginning on Nov. 10, 2022, each of the four consumer United credit cards issued by Chase will earn a boosted bonus for a limited time. Those offers are:
United Gateway℠ Card: Earn 60,000 bonus miles after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months your account is open. (Up from 20,000 bonus miles).
United℠ Explorer Card: Earn 60,000 bonus miles after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months your account is open. (Up from 50,000 bonus miles).
United Quest℠ Card: Earn 80,000 bonus miles after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months your account is open. (Up from 70,000 bonus miles).
United Club℠ Infinite Card: Earn 100,000 bonus miles after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. (Up from 80,000 bonus miles).
Cards can give a boost toward elite status
Hoping to earn or maintain elite status in the United MileagePlus program in 2023? These bonus offers may help you get there. United announced this week that it will raise qualification requirements for elite status in 2023.
Fortunately for cardholders, though, the program's new terms include increased credit card spending caps to earn Premier qualifying points (PQPs) toward elite status.
